The SALN is pleased to announce our contribution to the Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Month with a SALN SASM Event. This year we are proud to host Leah Dorion. She will be giving two sessions of a workshop titled "Teachings of the Giving Tree". it The session will exploretraditional Metis teachings We are going to make circle books with the participants based on the teachings in my giving tree book.

Each session is limited to 15 adults. It is intended for Aboriginal adults who wish to learn more about the process of writing, illustrating, and publishing books. There is no cost for this workshop and a lunch will be served after the Book Launch.

Please call our office to pre-register for the workshops. The Book Launch @ 11:30 - 12:30 is open to everyone.
